I had the misfortune to buy a CAN-AM MX-250. It looked so cool in the showroom. I replaced the forks and shocks, but it was a freaky handling bike with a hard-to-ride brutal powerband. It felt really fast. I raced it in the Astrodome. A week later I got an RM-250B - which felt so slow, I was convienced that I had made a big mistake. I won my first time out on the Suzuki, much to my suprise. The Suzuki was so smooth, you couldn't tell you were going fast. I learned you can't rely on seat-of-the-pants. Stopwatches don't lie.
